NFL Rumors: Two Browns' Wide Receivers Out Weeks With Injuries

The Cleveland Browns’ wide receiver room has taken another hit.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Monday that Cedric Tillman and DeAndre Carter will both miss “weeks” after suffering injuries in Sunday’s 34-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Tillman, 25, exited in the second quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return. He has been one of the Browns’ more reliable targets this season, leading the team with two touchdowns to go along with 11 catches for 106 yards through four games.

Carter, the team’s top kick and punt returner, injured his knee late in the fourth quarter and has not yet played an offensive snap this season.

The timing is difficult for Cleveland, which now faces the Minnesota Vikings in London during Week 5. With Tillman sidelined, rookies Isaiah Bond and Jamari Thrash are expected to see more opportunities alongside Jerry Jeudy, who has struggled to replicate his 2024 production.

On special teams, Stefanski may look to the practice squad, where options like Kaden Davis and Gage Larvadain have return experience.
