NFL Rumors: Ravens Get Brutal Injury News On Multiple Star Players

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson throws the ball during 2025 game.

The Baltimore Ravens are reeling after a brutal Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, with injuries piling up on both sides of the ball.

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey will miss “a couple of weeks” with a calf injury, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. The Pro Bowl defender was forced to leave in the first half and never returned.

Ravens lose several stars in Week 4 loss

Humphrey’s absence is just one of several blows.

Linebacker Roquan Smith was diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring strain and will miss a few weeks, while rookie corner Nate Wiggins hurt his elbow, and left tackle Ronnie Stanley went down with an ankle injury.

Most concerning of all, quarterback Lamar Jackson was sidelined in the third quarter with a hamstring injury after being sacked by George Karlaftis. Jackson was ruled questionable to return but did not re-enter, raising questions about his short-term availability. His status is now in question for Week 5.

Star defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike was also ruled out for the season with a neck injury.

Baltimore, now 1-3, will face the Houston Texans in Week 5 with potentially seven defensive starters and its franchise quarterback on the shelf. For a team with playoff aspirations, the next stretch could determine whether their season can be salvaged.
