NFL Hands Odell Beckham Jr. Six-Game Suspension
Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has accepted a six-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Beckham, 32, revealed the news on The Pivot Podcast with Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder, saying he never knowingly took any PEDs.
The suspension, which stems from a positive test during his brief stint with the Miami Dolphins last season, begins this week, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Despite the setback, Beckham said he still intends to play this season, though he remains unsigned. His suspension will prevent him from returning to the field until Week 12, effectively sidelining him until late November.
Beckham struggled during his nine-game run with Miami in 2024, catching just nine passes for 55 yards before being released at the trade deadline. He has since been a free agent, drawing little reported interest from teams.

A former New York Giants superstar and Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl champion, Beckham’s once-dazzling career has been marred by injuries and inconsistency in recent years.
After sitting out the 2022 season, he caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.
Now facing a suspension at age 32, his hopes of another NFL comeback are in serious doubt, and this latest news could mark the end of his playing days.
