NFL Rumors: 49ers & Bills Linked to Potential Trade

The San Francisco 49ers should not be done adding to their roster this offseason. One of their biggest needs is another impactful wide receiver, and it is an area on their roster that they must address before the 2026 season is here.

Due to this, the 49ers are now being linked to one of the most intriguing wide receiver trade candidates in the league right now.

In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Alex Kay predicted that the 49ers would swing a trade for Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman ahead of the draft.

Coleman's name has been floating around the rumor mill, and it would not be surprising if he gets traded by the Bills this offseason because of this. When noting that the 49ers are in need of another wide receiver on their roster, it would make a lot of sense if they tried to trade for Coleman this offseason.

Coleman would give the 49ers an intriguing wide receiver who still has the potential to get better as he continues to gain more experience. In 13 games this past season with the Bills, the 22-year-old wide receiver had four touchdowns, 38 receptions, and 404 receiving yards. This is after he had four touchdowns and 556 receiving yards as a rookie with the Bills in 2024.

It will now be interesting to see if the 49ers end up striking a deal with the Bils to land Coleman from here.
