NFL Rumors: Colts QB Anthony Richardson Linked to 2 Teams
The Indianapolis Colts will be a team to watch incredibly closely as the offseason carries on. They have one of the NFL's most interesting trade candidates in quarterback Anthony Richardson, and there is an expectation that he will be on the move before the start of the season.
Due to this, Richardson is now being linked to two new teams as we continue to inch closer to May.
In a recent article for CBS Sports, Bryan DeArdo named the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens as two potential landing spots to watch when it comes to Richardson.
"As far as potential landing spots, Richardson would be a good fit on a team that either has a young starting quarterback or one that has a similar skillset. Two teams that come to mind are the Dolphins (who have Malik Willis at QB1) and Ravens," DeArdo wrote.
With Richardson being a young quarterback in need of a fresh start, it would make sense for a team like the Dolphins or Ravens to take a chance on him for added depth. There would be very little risk in either of these teams bringing him in, so it will be interesting to see if one of them does from here.
In two games last season for the Colts, Richardson threw one completed pass on two attempts. This was after he threw eight touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and 1,814 yards during the 2024 season with the Colts, where he had a 6-5 record when used as their starter.
