It is not exactly a secret that the San Francisco 49ers are looking to move on from wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Because of this, he is among the most notable trade candidates in the NFL, with it now being the middle of April.
Now, the Tennessee Titans are linked to Aiyuk in a potential trade.
In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Kristopher Knox made a trade pitch that would have the Titans acquire Aiyuk from the 49ers in exchange for a conditional 2027 sixth-round pick.
When looking at the Titans' current roster, it is clear that they could use more help at the wide receiver position. Due to this, it would make sense if they took a chance on a veteran like Aiyuk.
Aiyuk last played for the 49ers during the 2024 season, where he had zero touchdowns, 25 receptions, and 374 receiving yards. This was after he had seven touchdowns, 75 receptions, and 1,342 receiving yards during the 2023 season with the 49ers.
With Aiyuk having a solid resume, he could be a player worth taking a chance on for the Titans. At a minimum, he would provide them with another experienced wide receiver for their depth, which would not be a bad thing in the slightest.
