NFL Rumors: 4 Teams Linked To Stefon Diggs
He has 85 catches, 1,013 yards, four touchdowns, and a Super Bowl appearance on his 2025 resume.
He is 32 years old and still does not have a team for 2026.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on SportsCenter that the Chiefs and Ravens are among the AFC contenders pursuing a veteran wide receiver, and while Fowler did not name Diggs specifically, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer connected Diggs directly to four teams this week: the Chiefs, Commanders, Rams, and Falcons.
Prediction market Kalshi currently favors the Ravens and Texans as the most likely landing spots.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs' need is the most obvious of any team on this list.
They lost Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson from the secondary in trades and free agency, and their receiver depth behind Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy is thin enough that Patrick Mahomes has had to absorb a legitimate skill position downgrade heading into his first season back from ACL surgery.

Adding Diggs would give Mahomes a proven third option and a veteran whose route running and contested-catch ability are still legitimate at this stage of his career.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens' receiver room alongside Zay Flowers has been a persistent organizational question for years, and Lamar Jackson operating without a legitimate secondary target remains a playoff concern.
Diggs in Baltimore is not the same player he was in Buffalo, but his ability to separate in the middle of the field on crossing routes gives Jackson an option that nobody currently on the roster provides.
Washington Commanders
The hometown pull has been well-documented.
Diggs grew up in the DMV, told media he had spoken with Commanders players about potentially joining the team, and said it felt like home.

Per: @MikeReiss
"It's literally about targets; the efficiency," he said. "We all appreciate what Stef did and I really loved being able to coach him -- the efficiency in which he was able to catch the ball was impressive.

Washington has cap space, a receiver room missing Deebo Samuel, and a young franchise quarterback in Jayden Daniels who has already demonstrated chemistry with veterans willing to operate in specific roles.
New England Patriots
A reunion is not off the table.
The Patriots acquired A.J. Brown from Philadelphia after releasing Diggs, but their receiver room beyond Brown and second-year receiver Kendrick Bourne is relatively thin.
If Diggs is willing to return on a team-friendly deal, the familiarity with Drake Maye and the offensive system could make New England the path of least resistance.

FA WR Stefon Diggs is drawing interest from multiple teams and will continue to weigh out his options before deciding where he will play in 2026, per league source.
The expected contract is a one-year deal in the range of $10 million, which is attainable for all four of these organizations.
