The Washington Commanders released Lattimore in March after a torn ACL ended his 2025 season early, clearing $18.5 million in cap space and sending the 30-year-old cornerback to the open market.
Injuries have been a recurring theme, as Lattimore has missed a combined 33 games over his last four seasons, but when healthy, he has played at a high level, ranking as a top-20 cornerback in PFN's CB Impact Score in four of five seasons before 2025.
Spotrac projects his market value around $8.5 million on a one-year deal.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are a prime destination as they look to return to Super Bowl contention.
Kansas City added corner Kader Kohou and safety Alohi Gilman but still needs more in the secondary, and Lattimore, when healthy, would be a significant upgrade.
With limited options available, the Chiefs' best path to improving their secondary is a veteran with upside, and Lattimore fits that risk-reward equation.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have long valued veteran defensive talent and were named a top fit.
Pittsburgh's defense could use another proven cornerback, and Lattimore's track record as a lockdown defender when healthy would appeal to a team built around its defensive identity.
On a reasonable one-year deal, he offers high upside with limited financial risk.
Houston Texans
The Texans round out the top fits.
Houston has invested heavily in its defense and could add Lattimore as a veteran presence in the secondary, giving the team another experienced option on the outside.
His ability to match up with top receivers, when right, would be a pretty valuable addition for a Texans team with playoff aspirations.
The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers have also been floated as possibilities, particularly on a cheap, incentive-based deal.
