Packers Rodgers Happy to Shut Up the Trolls

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not messing around this season and if you're not with him, you're against him. The Packers QB led his team to an impressive victory on Monday night against the Detroit Lions and Rodgers admitted afterwards it was a nice victory to shut up the trolls,

Rodgers spoke to the media following the Packers 35-17 victory and had this to say about silencing some doubts:

I think we maybe tried to show that we cared a little bit more tonight. I just think people like to say a lot of bullshit, and it's nice to come back in here after a game like that. Even more now than when I started playing, there's so many overreactions that happen on a week-to-week basis, so it's nice to come out, have a good performance, and get the trolls off our backs for at least a week

After a terrible week against the New Orleans Saints, Rodgers bounced back nicely and the 2020 MVP showed off his skills, passing for 255 yards and four touchdowns. Look for more of the same from a very motivated quarterback who is likely enjoying his final season in Green Bay. For now, time to silence more trolls.
