NFL Rumors: Tom Brady Contemplating Playing Future

According to Jeff Darlington and Adam Schefter, Tom Brady will not commit to playing for the 2022 season. The 44-year-old quarterback is expected to take time during the offseason to ponder his decision after speaking with his family and seeing how he's doing physically.

The Buccaneers are playing the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, so this is a game that all football fans should watch. If Tampa Bay does lose, there's a true chance that this could be the last time we all see Brady live. Whether you love him or hate him, he's a legend of the sport.

Brady has been open about wanting to play in the NFL until he is at least 45 years old. In terms of his skill level, it's clear that he can still play. During this regular season, he threw 5,316 yards, 43 touchdowns, but also had 12 interceptions. His yards and touchdowns were the most among all quarterbacks.

If Brady does decide to retire, it's safe to say he had a marvelous career. It's made apparent by his seven Super Bowls, five Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs, and 15 Pro Bowl selections. Those accomplishments are just the tip of the iceberg, though. Alas, we will have to wait and see what he decides to do. Until then, he will be pushing for his eighth Super Bowl ring.
