NFL Rumors: Aaron Rodgers Finished in Green Bay

The Green Bay Packers fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday as a late-second field goal by 49ers kicker Robbie Gould ended the dreams at Lambeau field. After the game there were some interesting comments made by both sides of the field, including Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers admitted the loss was shocking and his team had Super Bowl visions in 2022. The veteran QB spoke to the media following the loss and it sounds like the end could be near as a Packer:

I'm gonna take some time and have conversations with the folks around here, and then take some time away and make a decision before free agency or anything gets going on that front. I'm gonna take some time and have conversations with the folks around here, and then take some time away and make a decision before free agency or anything gets going on that front. It's tough to say at this point.

Expectation from some close to Packers management believe the team will move in a different direction in 2022 as the team is expected to focus on re-tooling and development of some of their younger players.

Wide receiver Davante Adams is also a free agent and he's been a huge part of the team's offense the last few seasons. If Adams isn't re-signed don't expect to see Rodgers back with the cheese heads. Sounding more and more like this was the end of the star quarterback with the franchise.
