NFL Rumors: Rams To Lose One Top Free Agent

According to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry, it is very unlikely that the Los Angeles Rams will be able to re-sign both Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller together this offseason. However, she also noted that they may be able to bring back one of them on their own.

Both Beckham Jr. and Miller were added by the Rams in the middle of the season as rentals. Thus, it's understandable that they likely will not be able to bring both back together. So far, they each have done their jobs nicely with Los Angeles, so it would be hard for Los Angeles to see either one of them sign elsewhere this offseason.

After a slow start to the season with the Cleveland Browns, Beckham Jr. has thrived with the Rams. In eight regular-season games with the team, he had five touchdowns, 27 receptions, and 305 total yards. This is the kind of bounce-back the 29-year-old needed, and he should land himself a nice contract through free agency because of it.

Like Beckham Jr, Miller has been doing very well with the Rams, too. In eight games with the team, he has five sacks to go along with a forced fumble. The 32-year-old linebacker should have plenty of suitors if he hits the open market, as he is still quite effective, to say the least.

The Rams are set to play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game this upcoming Sunday. They should aim to take advantage of having these two players right now, as it's likely to change come this fall.
