NFL Rumors: 3 Free Agents Expected to Sign With New Teams

The NFL free agency period opens in a few weeks and the movement is going to be early and often. March 16, 2022 will be one of the busiest days in NFL history and lets take a look at a few players expected to be switching teams:

Chandler Jones, EDGE

The Arizona Cardinals are going to be in tough to sign Chandler Jones as the edge rusher is in line for a nice pay day, even at 32 years old. There were some rumblings about a contract extension before last season but the two sides couldn't work something out. All Jones did after was go out and ball, as he recorded 10.5 sacks in 2021/22. He's long from done in the NFL and there's going to be a ton of teams interested in his services. Appears Jones' days in the desert are over.

Ryan Jensen, C

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have lost the biggest name of all in Tom Brady but perhaps their most important free agent is Ryan Jensen. The center is a beast at 6-foot-4 and 319 pounds and is coming off his first Pro Bowl selection. He's a run-blocking machine and one of the best in the league among centers. With the search for a new quarterback and some other big names hitting the open market including Chris Godwin, expect to see Jensen switching teams in 2022. A move that will certainly hurt the Bucs roster for next season.

Allen Robinson, WR

The Chicago Bears are likely going into the 2022 season without Allen Robinson as the veteran wideout is expected to sign elsewhere. The Bears franchise tagged him before last season and it resulted in a down season of only 410 yards in 12 games. His resume speaks for itself and expect to see Robinson head to a team with a veteran quarterback and a chance to win the Super Bowl. The New England Patriots could also be interested, as will the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks.
