NFL Rumors: Rams Want To Keep Star Around

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the Los Angeles Rams are very interested in re-signing Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham sustained a torn ACL in this year's Super Bowl, and due to the severity of this injury, he likely will miss some time during next season. Yet, even with this being so, the Rams are still very eager to sign the 29-year-old to a brand new contract. When looking at how well he played after joining them, it's easy to understand why.

After a slow start to the season with the Cleveland Browns, Beckham rebounded significantly with the Rams. In his eight games with the team, he had five touchdowns, 305 receiving yards, and 27 receptions. He was a perfect fit for the Rams, so if they can manage to sign him to a deal from here, they should jump on the opportunity.

It will be interesting to see how much Beckham's injury impacts negotiations between the two parties, but at a minimum, Los Angeles is still interested in keeping the star around.
