NFL Rumors: 4 Teams Pursuing Tyrann Mathieu

Tyrann Mathieu is one of the top remaining free agents on the market, so he naturally is getting a lot of attention from around the league. At this point in time, the Las Vegas Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Bears are all expressing interest in the safety.

The 2021 season was a solid one for Mathieu, as he had 76 combined tackles, three interceptions, and even a touchdown for the Kansas City Chiefs. Needless to say, he should be on the verge of landing himself a very nice contract. However, his eventual destination has not been determined yet.

Mathieu's immense amount of overall experience also helps heighten his value as a player, too. In 129 career games between the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and Chiefs, he has 610 combined tackles and 26 interceptions. With that, he is also a three-time Pro Bowler, two-time First-team All-Pro, and Super Bowl champion.

It will be intriguing to see if any of these four teams end up landing the 29-year-old. Time will tell on that front.
