NFL Rumors: Jaguars Interested In Star Wide Receiver
If Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams officially becomes a free agent, the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to pursue him, according to Tony Pauline.
The Jaguars are coming off of a rather disastrous campaign, as they finished it with a 3-14 record. Although they certainly hoped for more success, it's now time for them to focus on building a stronger roster for next season. Adding a star like Adams would certainly be a big step in the right direction.
In 16 games this season with the Packers, Adams had 11 touchdowns, 123 receptions, and 1,553 total yards. Overall, it was another excellent campaign for the 29-year-old, as he was named a First-Team All-Pro for the second time in his career and played in his fifth-career Pro Bowl.
The Packers are in for a very busy offseason, as they need to not only try to re-sign Adams but also have a big decision to make with Aaron Rodgers. If they are unable to come to terms with Adams, however, it seems very possible that he could end up in Jacksonville.
