Colts Sign Star Cornerback

We have an official winner of the Stephon Gilmore sweepstakes. The Indianapolis Colts are signing the star cornerback to a two-year contract, according to Adam Schefter.

Gilmore just completed his lone season with the Carolina Panthers, and it was another solid one for the veteran. Although he was limited to just nine games, he was excellent during them, as he had two interceptions and 16 combined tackles. With that, he was named to his fourth consecutive and fifth-ever Pro Bowl.

The Colts are continuing to have a busy offseason with this signing. They of course already added Matt Ryan, Rodney McLeod, and Yannick Ngakoue previously, and it seems that more could be on the way. It's clear that they want to take that next step, and adding Gilmore certainly is a good way to try to help with that. Let's see how this plays out for them.
