Bengals Wide Receiver Has Surgery
According to Tom Pelissero, Bengals WR Tee Higgins had surgery on his labrum last month. Although he naturally will need some time to recover, he is expected to be ready to go for training camp.
Higgins is emerging into an excellent receiver, so the Bengals should be happy to hear that he is not expected to miss any regular-season time. He avoided a "sophomore slump" this past season, as he had six touchdowns, 74 receptions, and 1,091 yards. The 2020 second-round pick seems to have a very bright future ahead of him, and it will be intriguing to see how his 2022 campaign goes.
With the Bengals reaching the Super Bowl this past season, they will be looking to win it all in 2022. For that to occur, they need high-impact players like Higgins to be healthy. Here's to hoping he doesn't have any setbacks during his recovery and is 100% ready to go by the start of the regular season.
