NFL Rumors: Rob Gronkowski Expected To Play 2022 Season

All offseason, there have been many questions about Rob Gronkowski's playing future. Although there have been rumblings that the star tight end might call it a career, Gronkowski has "given some indications" that he expects to play, according to Jason La Canfora.

La Canfora also noted that Gronkowski is most likely going to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that "the band is essentially back."

If the Buccaneers successfully re-sign Gronkowski, he certainly will give them another strong option on offense. With Tom Brady officially coming out of retirement, it would not be surprising in the slightest if Gronk return to Tampa. The pair have been together since the beginning of the latter's career, so there's a clear sense of familiarity between them.

Nevertheless, this is something to keep an eye as we get deeper into the offseason.
