Troubling Injury Update on Buccaneers Wide Receiver

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage has yet to resume practicing.

Three weeks ago, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the injury was considered "minor". Gage is now going on three weeks without practicing and, for an injury that is "minor", that shouldn't be the case.

The receiver has been seen on the sidelines throughout camp but has not participated. The Bucs have also not provided an injury update on him, which is odd.

With just two weeks to go until the Buccaneer's Week 1 opener against the Dallas Cowboys, there should be an update on Gage soon, hopefully, a positive one. It remains to be seen if Gage will be an option for Tom Brady and the Bucs come Week 1. Star wide receiver Chris Godwin's status is also up in the air for September 11.
