Veteran RB Drake Signs With Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have officially signed veteran running back Kenyan Drake, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and confirmed by his sports agency.

Drake, who was in the midst of trade rumors earlier this week, has now put pen to paper officially. He was released by the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in August and has now found his fourth team in three years.

The 28-year-old Alabama product was drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins but was traded to the Cardinals in October 2019. In 2020, he racked up 1,092 yards from scrimmage in 15 appearances for Arizona. He would later sign with the Raiders in '21, where he would only start two of 12 games logging 545 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in total.

Drake suffered a season-ending ankle injury against the Washington Commanders on December 5th, 2021.
