Browns Star Escapes Car Accident With No Serious Injuries

The Cleveland Browns and the NFL community were rocked yesterday by the news surrounding Myles Garrett and the one-car accident following practice that saw him rushed to a local hospital. At the time, it was reported that Garrett didn't suffer any life threatening injuries, and today, the Browns organization updated the world on his status, and it's safe to say that we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

In the update, the Browns announced that Garrett suffered a shoulder sprain, bicep sprain, some minor lacerations and a few bumps, and while his status for Sunday's game against Atlanta is up in the air, it's a positive outcome for what was a very scary situation. Garrett has also passed through the concussion protocol of the team, and at the end of the day, it looks like he's going to come out of this completely fine.

Still, we continue to hope and pray that nothing else comes of this, and in the hands of fantastic medical professionals, it appears that it will, and it's more likely than not that sometime in the next few weeks, we see the All-Pro defender back on an NFL field with Cleveland.
