Chargers QB Active For Week 3

The Los Angeles Chargers have had quite the rest period this past week, as they came up short in a Thursday Night Football clash against the Kansas City Chiefs, but the biggest story was the rib injury suffered by star QB Justin Herbert. He returned to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday, and while he was marked as questionable, many within the organization were confident the tough young QB could be back for the clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Today, they confirmed that, as Herbert has now been marked as active, and despite all the pain he's been going through after the brutal rib injury, he'll play in Week 3. The Chargers have started the year 1-1, and in a tough AFC, where the Chiefs could be 3-0 after today, every win is vital, and through all the pain, Herbert is going to tough it out for this franchise.

This Chargers team is stacked, and if Herbert can be at 80% in the clash with the significantly weaker Jaguars, this team has a good chance to head to 2-1, but they'll all need to be at their best to protect their talented young Quarterback.
