Could A Legendary Tight End Make A Comeback In 2022?

As we all know, arguably the greatest player in NFL history, Tom Brady made a return from retirement after just a few weeks, and if you ask the agent of his favourite ever target, Rob Gronkowski, there's a 'gut feeling' that No. 87 could return later in the season to join TB12. There's been nothing confirmed, but when asked about it, Drew Rosenhaus said he had a gut feeling it could happen, and given the connection between the two and their potential to win a Super Bowl, it wouldn't surprise anyone at this point.

Gronkowski has been a favourite target of Brady dating back to their days in New England, and in 11 years together, 'Gronk' has managed to accumulate over 9,000 receiving yards with 92 Touchdown's, and has played a key role in helping Brady hoist the Lombardi Trophy 4-times in his career.

Many believe that Gronk will go down as the greatest tight end of all-time, and even after several retirements, he is only 33-years of age, so if we see a comeback again in 2022 with Brady, there's no reason why he can't get back to his best as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to win their second Super Bowl of the Tom Brady era. Only time will tell whether he actually steps back onto a football field or not, but if you get a call from the 45-year old GOAT to come back, most, especially ones as talented as Gronk would certainly listen, and there's a good chance of that happening in 2022.
