Cowboys Sign Veteran Tackle To Active Roster

The Dallas Cowboys are off to a slow start in 2022, highlighted by the loss of their starting QB Dak Prescott, but after picking up win No. 1 this season behind Cooper Rush in Week 2, there's certainly some optimism ahead for the Cowboys season. Part of their struggles has been the offensive line, who lost some big names before the season began, and early on, the team made a move for a veteran that, for Cowboys fans, is hopefully about to pay off.

Dallas signed Philadelphia Eagles veteran tackle Jason Peters, and today, the team has elevated him to the active roster ahead of their Monday Night Football clash with the undefeated New York Giants, and he could play a key role for this team. It's safe to say that when healthy, this Dallas offence can be fantastic, so if Peters can provide Rush even a fraction more time and protection in the pocket, this is going to prove to be a good signing.

It's unclear yet where Peters fits in along this offensive line, but a veteran of almost 20 years, a guy like Peters, who has tasted Super Bowl success will be a good influence on this entire offensive unit regardless.
