Giants Rookie Confident He Can Make NFL Debut On Sunday

The New York Giants had two picks in the top-10 of the 2022 NFL Draft, and already, Alabama Tackle Evan Neal seems to be paying off, as he played a solid game in Week 1, defending QB Daniel Jones from the Tennessee Titans in a shocking upset win. Unfortunately for New York, their other prized first round pick, Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux was unavailable in Week 1, with many fearing that he would miss several games in his rookie campaign.

He, along with linebacker Azeez Ojulari were dealing with injuries late in camp, but yesterday, it was reported that Thibodeaux was very confident he could play in Week 2, as the explosive edge looks to make his name at the next level.

Thibodeaux was impressive in camp and came to the NFL with all the hype in the world, and if he can make good on all of that promise, this team could have a dangerous defensive line for years to come. There's been no official word from the Giants ahead of Week 2, but this is a good sign for fans of the New York Giants who were expecting both rookies to play a huge part in their 2022 NFC East division battle.
