Raiders Hosting Former Patriots Linebacker

Jamie Collins has been one of the most solid and at time impactful linebackers in the NFL over the past decade, but it's safe to say that his best performances have come while he's been under Bill Belichik and the New England Patriots. Over his 10-year career, which has featured three stints with the Patriots, and time with both Cleveland and Detroit, Collins has tallied 26.5 sacks, 39 passes deflected, 12 interceptions, 19 forced fumbles, 8 fumble recoveries and 2 Touchdown's, which is quite the resume.

After splitting time between Detroit and New England a year ago, Collins is again without a home, but in recent days, he's visited the Las Vegas Raiders, who could certainly use some help in the middle of their defence. While Collins isn't the explosive stud that he used to be, he's still a very solid veteran that will provide this team with plenty of options and depth, and if he can come to a deal with the team, it will be a great move for both parties.

The depth in the NFL right now is fantastic, which is why players like Collins, Odell Beckham and others still find themselves without a team for 2022, but for a team like Vegas that have eyes on a deep playoff run, this is the type of solid move that could certainly improve their team as a whole.
