Saints Running Back Expected To Play In 2022

The New Orleans Saints were battered and beaten in Week 2 by their division rivals in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and ahead of another divisional battle against the Panthers, this offence may get the huge boost that they need to get back to 2-1. Alvin Kamara may have been less than stellar in the season opening victory over Atlanta while Michael Thomas took over, but his presence was sorely missed in Week 2, and if everything goes well today, he'll be back in the backfield behind Jameis Winston.

Kamara has been the Saints most electric player over the past few seasons, and if he can get back to his best, the Saints should resume their winning ways, as the Carolina Panthers have yet to put up a dominant performance in 2022. This will be a very interesting matchup, as both. teams have great talent on both sides of the ball, but if Kamara can get back to his old self, along with Thomas and the rest of this offence, it could be a big day for New Orleans.

All that can't happen until Kamara gets cleared from a rib injury, but as of right now, it looks like he'll be back and ready to lead this Saints offence into battle with their third straight divisional matchup to start 2022.
