The Arizona Cardinals Injury Crisis Worsens

The Arizona Cardinals were once seen as a potential Super Bowl contender in the NFC ahead of the 2022 NFL season, but with injuries and suspensions aplenty, they'll need to put in a super human effort ahead of Week 2 to avoid starting their campaign 0-2. Unfortunately for Arizona, it isn't getting better, as two wide receivers have been ruled out ahead of their crucial Week 2 clash with the Las Vegas Raiders, with second year Rondale Moore and rookie Andy Isabella  both being confirmed to miss action.

This comes on top of DeAndre Hopkins still being out of action due to a suspension, and leaves the Cardinals with just four healthy receivers in A.J. Green, Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch and Andre Baccellia, two of which have had very little success at the NFL level.

With Kyler Murray at the helm and James Conner in the backfield, there's still a chance that this team will be competitive, but they'll be up against a star studded Raiders team that has all of their weapons available, so it's hard to see a scenario where this team can step up and compete in Week 2. Ultimately, anyone can beat anyone on Sunday, but given the injuries on both sides of the ball, it's going to be very tough for Arizona to stay away from an 0-2 start, ahead of a Week 3 matchup with the defending champion Los Angeles Rams.
