Browns Star Cornerback Remains In Concussion Protocol

The Cleveland Browns suffered yet another devastating loss yesterday, this time going down to the division rival Baltimore Ravens, sending their record to 2-5 through seven weeks, and with another blockbuster showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals and their red-hot offence, the news Cleveland announced today is even worse for them.

According to Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, the Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward remains in concussion protocol, and although there's a good chance he makes it through the week and can return, it's not ideal that he's missed two straight games and remains in protocol. With Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd coming to town, this is the last thing the Browns want, and if they fall to 2-6, allowing Cincinnati to get to 5-3, it may very well be over for a talented teams season.

Updates will come throughout the week, but right now, the signs aren't good on Ward, and given how they've lost four straight games, it's tough to see them slow down the offence led by Joe Burrow without their superstar corner on the field, so hopefully for Browns fans, Ward can recover and lead this defence once again in Week 8.
