Cardinals Acquire WR Day After Being Kicked Out of Game by His Own Coaching Staff

That didn't take long.

The Arizona Cardinals have acquired wide receiver Robbie Anderson from the Carolina Panthers.
Anderson was kicked out of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams by his own coaching staff and unsurprisingly has now finished his playing time in Carolina. He now gets an upgrade at quarterback in an offensive environment, but you could say that about anywhere else than Carolina, as the team is currently in the worst possible situation right now.

The Cardinals have struggled pretty badly to begin the season and are staring down a potential multi-week absence from WR Marquise Brown, who was seen in a walking boot after Sunday's loss against the Seattle Seahawks.

Anderson should be able to serve as a deep threat, in a similar role to what Brown was expected to have in Week 7 when DeAndre Hopkins returns from his suspension.

In five games, Anderson has 13 catches for 206 yards and a touchdown this season on 27 targets.
