Chiefs Kicker Returns to Practice; Out Since Week 1

He's been out since Week 1.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker returned to practice Wednesday. The kicker was a limited participant at practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
Butker has not played since he sprained his ankle in Week 1, but his participation in practice Wednesday suggests he's nearing a return to the field. However, if the Chiefs decide to be cautious and not rush Butker back for Week 6, Matthew Wright would be slated to handle kicking duties in his stead.

The Chiefs had originally replaced Butker with Matt Ammendola, but his stint with the team didn't last long as he was eventually replaced by Wright, who is 3-for-4 on his field goal attempts this year.

When healthy, Harrison Butker is one of the best kickers in all of football.
