Commanders Running Back Cleared, Taken Off NFI List

The Washington Commanders are off to a slow start in 2022, despite solid performances on both sides of the ball, but after losing young wide receiver Jahan Dotson, the team has gotten some good news on rookie skill position players. Just weeks after being shot in an attempted car-jacking, Brian Robinson appears to be completely healthy, and after Washington took him off the Non-Football Injury list, there's a chance the young running back could return as soon as Week 5.

That may be pushing it, but Robinson has shown to recover quickly after the incident, and if the Commanders want a spark to their offence, then Robinson could be just the player they're looking for. The team officially have 21 days to put Robinson on the active roster, and when he's ready, the team expect him to play a major role in this offence going forward.

The former Alabama standout was drafted in the third-round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and was impressing many in the off-season, and if he can get acclimated to the NFL, there's no doubt he's going to be a contributor at this level for years to come.
