Cowboys QB Returns To Practice In Limited Capacity

The Dallas Cowboys and their fans feared the worst in Week 1 when they lost starting Quarterback Dak Prescott in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a right wrist injury, but since that time, have rode the wave of Cooper Rush all the way to a 4-1 record, and a showdown with the 5-0 NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. Prescott isn't expected to return for this one, and Rush will lead the way again, but today, Prescott made huge strides in order to return in the near future, as he returned to practice for the first time since Week 1, although it was in a limited capacity.

Some Cowboys fans may want to keep rolling with the hot hand, but Dak is the more experience and successful Quarterback, and when he's ready to go, he is likely to immediately step back in and take over this Dallas team that has been absolutely rolling in recent weeks.

While Dak won't be back this week, it's only a matter of time until he's healthy enough again to start, and if he can play the way he has in recent years, this Cowboys team has a fantastic shot at finally taking the next step, and potentially making a deep run through the playoffs.
