Eagles Left Tackle Returns To Practice

While they've haven't been utterly dominant in every game they've played in 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated at 5-0, but their biggest test comes in Week 6, as they will go up against their division rival, the Dallas Cowboys, who currently sit at 4-1, with a perfect 4-0 record with Cooper Rush playing Quarterback. While Rush has been great, it's the defence, led by Micah Parsons that makes this Cowboys squad elite, so thankfully for Eagles fans, it appears that their stud left tackle could be back in time to keep Jalen Hurts protected a little bit more.

Jordan Mailata missed the Week 5 victory over Arizona, and while Hurts was solid, his performance was certainly hindered by injuries along the offensive line, so when Mailata appeared at practice today, it was a major boost for the team ahead of the crucial clash.

Mailata and the rest of this offensive line will still need to bring their absolute A game to slow down this Cowboys defence, but being at full strength offers confidence that this skill unit can get the time to do what they need to do in order to move on to 6-0 on the season. The young tackle took over as the full-time starter back in 2021, and through three weeks before his injury, looked to be playing at an elite level, making this heavyweight clash all the more intriguing in Week 6.
