Disgruntled Jets Wide Receiver Absent At Practice Thursday

Trouble brewing in New York?

New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore was not seen at Thursday's practice.

Normally, one wouldn't look twice at a report like this, however, the timing of Moore's absence is interesting given the wide receiver's recent tweet about his displeasure with his role in the offense.

However, head coach Robert Saleh said that Moore's absence was team-approved as he deals with something family-related.

It would appear the upset wide receiver's absence is a non-issue, however, the timing and surrounding situations of it make it something to definitely keep an eye on.

The second-year wide receiver has 16 catches for 203 yards on 29 targets through six games this season. Moore did not see a single target in the Jets' Week 6 win over the Green Bay Packers.
