Giants Place Pass Rusher On Injured Reserve

The New York Giants are off to a blistering 5-1 start early in the 2022 NFL season, on the back of a solid defence and timely offence, led by the incredible Saquon Barkley, and somehow, they've been doing it all while racking up one of the biggest injury reports in the entire NFL through six weeks. One player they've been waiting to get back is linebacker Azeez Ojulari, who hasn't appeared in a game since October 2, and will now miss at least the Giants next four games.

Ojulari's rookie year in 2021 was a breakout for the young linebacker, who recorded 43 tackles and 8 sacks, which is a Giants rookie record. The 22-year old just hasn't been able to stay healthy in 2022, as the team expected he and 2022 first-round pick Kayvon Thibodeaux to cause havoc for this defence, and if they are to build on their impressive start to the year, they'll need him back.

The Giants stretch of games ahead isn't as tough as the beginning to the year, so if they can get healthy, this team has proven they are good enough to be a genuine playoff squad, and if they can get their wide receiver corps and defensive line healthy, they could certainly make some noise.
