Jets QB Limited At Wednesday Practice

The New York Jets pulled out their second come from behind win of the 2022 season on Sunday over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but this one meant a little more to Jets fans, as it was led methodically by their 2021 first-round pick, Zach Wilson. Wilson was making his first start since a knee injury in Week 1 of the 2022 pre-season, and although he looked rusty, he brought the heat when it mattered most, going 5-5 for 67 yards on the final, game winning drive.

Unfortunately, just four days later, Wilson is limited at practice with an ankle injury, along with running back Breece Hall, but today, Head Coach Robert Saleh told the media that it was just "nicks and bruises", and that both should be good before the divisional matchup with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

The Jets have gathered a collection of very talented young players on both sides of the ball, and it has their fans very optimistic about the future, but if Wilson can't be the guy, the team will need to make a decision on him, sooner, rather than later. Wilson looked good in Week 4, and got Hall, Michael Carter, Elijah Moore and Garrett Wilson involved, and if he can get back to practicing fully over the next few days, the chemistry and play should only improve going forward.
