Lions Rule Out Another Wide Receiver For Week 4

The Detroit Lions have been a very fun team to watch through three weeks of the 2022 NFL season, and despite their 1-2 record, they've been very competitive in every game, showing the fight and signs of life that Head Coach Dan Campbell has been seeking. Unfortunately, as the team looks to get back to .500 on the year against the Seattle Seahawks, this offence is going to be critically under-manned, as the team already announced Amon-Ra St. Brown and D'Andre Swift were out, and now, it appears that WR2 will also be absent.

Late on Saturday, the Lions downgraded receiver DJ Chart to out for Sunday's matchup, and if the Lions are to stay competitive in the NFC North, Quarterback Jared Goff will have to be in career best form. That's certainly attainable, but the fact is, the Lions seem to be turning it around, and when first round pick Jameson Williams gets ready to go, this is going to be a very fun offence to watch.

Unfortunately, Week 4 could be a big struggle for this team, but if they can get past a struggling Seattle team without those weapons on offence, it will be a huge step in the right direction for a franchise that has seemingly been directionless for the past decade.
