New 49ers Running Back Expected To Play In Week 7

The San Francisco 49ers made the biggest trade of the regular season thus far, as they moved several picks over the next few years to acquire superstar running back Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers, and despite only making the deal official on Thursday, it appears that CMC is ready to suit up tomorrow against the Kansas City Chiefs.

ESPN Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that on just two days of practice, the former All-Pro will make his 49ers debut, and with George Kittle and Deebo Samuel on this roster, this has the makings of one of the most dangerous offensive units in the league. The 49ers come in with a solid 3-3 record, and a share of first place in the NFC West, but now that they seem to be getting healthy, along with the addition of McCaffrey, this is a team that if they can stay healthy, could make a run late in the season.

Over his 5.5 year career, McCaffrey has tallied over 7,000 all purpose yards to go along with 50 Touchdown's, and if he can stay healthy for the rest of 2022, this may be his best season yet, as he has a very strong team around him.
