NFL Rumors: Denver Broncos Taking Calls On Two Star Players

The Denver Broncos have been off to a very disappointing start in 2022, behind the struggles of supposed superstar Quarterback Russell Wilson, and with a loss to the Jets today, this team would be 2-5 on the year with one of the worst offence's in the NFL. This has led teams to call Denver to see if their star players are available, and according to reports, this week, the Broncos fielded calls on both wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and defensive end Bradley Chubb, but it's not clear yet who the teams were or how well received said calls were.

With the way this offence has struggled in 2022, Jeudy has still been having a solid year, with 17 catches for 290 yards and 2 Touchdown's, but after what we've seen from him in recent years, an offence led by Wilson should be propelling him to much higher highs. The third year pro has been flashing potential since Denver drafted him back in 2020, but has yet to take the next step, and perhaps to make that happen, he needs a change of scenery, or Quarterback.

Chubb on the other hand has been solid and a great leader for an elite defence in 2022, racking up 20 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles through six weeks, and if they were to move Chubb, they would likely get a fantastic package in return. At this point, Denver haven't shown a clear willingness to move their biggest stars, but if they lose in Week 7, and continue to sit behind two fantastic teams in the AFC West, it makes complete sense if they would want to move on and get some future assets, which they traded plenty of to acquire Wilson.
