NFL 3 Stars For Week 6: Quarterback

Week 6 was certainly an entertaining one in the NFL, and it was a good one for Quarterbacks, as there was plenty of solid play around the league, but with the defence's stepping up in the manner they have, we just haven't seen QB's dominate like we have in previous years. There's been some shock names step up in previous weeks, but this week, it was the best of the best that stepped up, and while they all weren't in winning situations, the following 3 QB's were the best in the NFL during Week 6.

3. Matt Ryan

Stat line: 42/58, 389, 3 Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions.

The Colts have faced plenty of criticism in 2022 thus far, and a lot of that has been directed towards the offence, and with Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines both out in Week 6, as well as a 24-0 defeat back in Week 2 to the Jaguars in their mind, many expected more of the same this week. Fortunately, Ryan looked like vintage Matty Ice, and the Colts were able to move to 3-2-1 on the season, and if they can continue to look like this as Taylor returns, this could be one of the most dangerous teams in the entire AFC.

2. Joe Burrow

Stat line: 28/27, 300 Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions, 4 Carries, 25 Yards.

Joe Burrow hasn't quite been as consistent as we've seen him before in 2022, but with a huge game down in New Orleans to go back to 3-3 and move into a tie for first place in the AFC North on the line, he stepped up huge, along with big time help from Ja'Marr Chase. Burrow hasn't been at his best so far, but in Week 6, he looked pretty close, and if the offence can get clicking like 2021 again, than this team has a good shot to again get to the playoffs and make a very deep run.

1. Josh Allen

Stat line: 27/40, 329 Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions, 12 Carries, 32 Yards.

Josh Allen is likely the MVP front runner so far in 2022, and with a big time matchup against the Chiefs in Week 6, he needed to be at his absolute best if the Bills were to continue their winning ways and remain at the top of the entire AFC. That's exactly what he did, and while we've seen better performances in 2022, Allen looked fantastic, and at this point in time, No. 17 has got the Bills looking unstoppable and ready for a genuine run at the Super Bowl.
