NFL 3 Stars For Week 6: Tight End

The tight end position is one in the NFL's that's dominated by three big names, and while other players have been stepping up all season, this week, it was the best of the best that showed the NFL why they are in a class all to themselves. Sure, the position is a very versatile one, and good performances won't always result in the best stats, but this week, there were some amazing performances, and these are the best of the best.

3. Mike Giesicki

Stat line: 6 catches, 69 yards, 2 Touchdowns.

The Dolphins fell for the third straight week, with their two backup Quarterbacks leading the way in Week 6, but one positive was this receiving group, led by Tyreek Hill, who once again, put up an amazing performance. While he's technically a tight end, Giesicki has been considered more of a wide receiver, and with two Touchdown catches in Week 6, he showed why, and when Tua Tagovailoa gets back, this offence could be one of the best in the NFL.

2. Travis Kelce

Stat line: 8 catches, 108 yards, 0 Touchdowns.

The Kansas City Chiefs faced their toughest test of the year in Week 6 by facing off against their playoff rival the Buffalo Bills, and while they put in a solid performance, it wasn't enough to knock off the 5-1 Bills atop the AFC. Travis Kelce was his usual best during the game however, and although he couldn't get back into the end zone after a 4 TD performance a week ago, he still gave this team a good shot to win.

1. Mark Andrews

Stat line: 7 catches, 106 yards, 1 Touchdown.

Mark Andrews is arguably the most consistent tight end in the NFL, and even with this offence struggling to move the ball through the air, he always seems to be in the right place at the right time for Lamar Jackson, who loves to find No. 89. They fell late in the game yet again, but Andrews continues to solidify his place as one of the best tight ends in the NFL, and if he goes on like this all year, he'll likely end as the Ravens best pass catcher of 2022.
