NFL Rumors: Four Teams Have Called Texans On Wide Receiver

The Houston Texans haven't had much to cheer about through seven weeks in their 2022 campaign, but with solid seasons from Derek Stingley Jr. and Dameon Pierce, there's a solid core of young talent to build upon. With veteran star receiver Brandin Cooks on the team too, they have a chance to gain some extra draft capital, and just days away from the 2022 NFL trade deadline, he's expected to be one of the hottest commodities in the league.

The veteran receiver of 9 years in the NFL has six seasons of 1,000 receiving yards, at least one with all four teams he has played for, and now, it has been revealed that at least four teams, Green Bay, the New York Giants, LA Rams and Minnesota Vikings have all called Houston about his services.

It's not yet known how motivated the Texans are to move him, but if they can get more draft capital ahead of the 2023 draft, especially with Laremy Tunsil another potential trade piece, then this season will be seen as a major success. They aren't yet sold on Davis Mills as the QB of the future, but they have plenty of young talent, and adding more young players through the draft will help this franchise as they look to rebuild going forward.
