NFL Rumors: Teams Have Called Patriots About Three Key Players

The New England Patriots currently sit at 3-4 as they head to the road to take on the 5-2 New York Jets, and if they fall in Week 8 just days before the trade deadline, there's a very good chance that this team becomes one of the biggest sellers in the NFL before the November 2 deadline. There's been rumblings in recent weeks that every single wide receiver on this team has garnered interest, and now, further reports state that on top of that, three of the teams key starters are also drawing attention on the trade market.

Firstly, we have running back Damien Harris, who is a very solid starter and would help launch solid 1-2 combos with any playoff team in the 2022 race, as he is currently responsible for 265 yards rushing and 3 Touchdown's, despite the injury struggles. Then there's offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn, a first-round pick back in 2017, he has played in 36 games for the Patriots since that point, and was a key member of the offensive line that saw them win their last Super Bowl.

Finally is Jabrill Peppers, who came into the league with plenty of hype around his hard hitting style, and while he's never quite become the star many expected in the NFL, he has been a solid starter ever sine arriving. He signed a one year deal with New England this off-season, so if they can get a pick from him, it would work out quite well.

There's no telling whether any of these players will be moved, as Bill Belichick likely believes this team can contend no matter the situation they find themselves in, but with such a tough division, if they can't find a way to beat New York in Week 8, it may be time to sell.
