Packers QB Back To Practice On Thursday

The Green Bay Packers suffered a shock loss to the New York Giants in Week 5 over in London, dropping their record back to 3-2, and then yesterday, news came out that starting QB and back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers was missing practice with a right thumb injury. That's painful for anyone, but for a Quarterback that needs the full use of his hand to make all the necessary throws at the NFL level, it's even worse, but thankfully for Green Bay fans, they can breath a sigh of relief, as Rodgers returned to the practice field on Thursday.

The Packers have the surprising 3-2 New York Jets coming to town for a Week 6 matchup, and with the stifling defence, led by Quinine Williams and the elite cornerback pairing of DJ Reed and Sauce Gardner, Rodgers and Green Bay will have to be at their best if they want to keep pace with the 4-1 Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

As of now, it seems that Rodgers is good to go, and if his young weapons can step up, this could be the game of the week, and while the injury may limit him from being as good as we know he can be, he should be good enough to put in another great performance.
