Packers Receiver Leaves Game With Ankle Injury

The Green Bay Packers are locked in a defensive battle with the New York Jets at home, and with some of their young receivers already out, the team got some even more bad news, as one of Aaron Rodgers favourite targets, veteran Randall Cobb, has left the game with an ankle injury. Cobb was seen hobbling around early in the third quarter, and eventually, was taken on the cart all the way to the locker room, and although Green Bay has declared him questionable to return, the look on his face while being carted off didn't make it look too good.

The Packers have struggled to do anything offensively in this game, with the exception of a few Aaron Jones runs, and without Cobb, the team is down to just Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs as their top receivers, which isn't going to help as they fall behind against New York.

Cobb is a veteran of several teams, but his most notable run in the NFL was with the Packers when they last made the Super Bowl, and given how solid he's been in 2022, this is dreadful news for he and Green Bay, who have struggled mightily in 2022 thus far.
