Panthers Running Back Declared Out For Week 8

The Carolina Panthers are in line to play their second game since trading away Christian McCaffrey against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, and it's safe to say after Week 7, they weren't missing their former star too much. Chuba Hubbard and D'Onta Foreman both starred in the shock victory over Tampa Bay, combining for over 200 all purpose yards, and this week, they surprisingly have a chance to get back in the NFC South race, but they'll do so without Hubbard, who has been officially ruled out for this one.

Hubbard was drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and although he hasn't played significant time until now, he has been a solid contributor, accumulating almost 900 all purpose yards and 7 Touchdowns in his time in the NFL thus far. After such a good performance in Week 7, this one has to be a huge disappointment for Hubbard, but with Foreman getting the majority of the load now, this team has a chance to make it back-to-back wins.

Many believed that when McCaffrey was traded, this team would fall to pieces, but with a great offensive line and a good game plan, they were able to take down Tampa Bay behind this run game, and if they can do the same again in Week 8 with P.J. Walker at QB, there's no telling how far this team can go in the NFC South.
