Raiders Tight End Suffers Hamstring Injury On Monday Night

The Las Vegas Raiders fell to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, sending their season record to 1-4, making it incredibly unlikely that they can go on a run in such a tough division to make the playoffs, but unfortunately for the Raiders and their fans, it wasn't the only significant loss on the night. Although the team was able to put up a solid 29 points against the Chiefs, with Hunter Renfrow a key return to this passing attack, and early in this game, star tight end Darren Waller would also go down with a hamstring injury.

Updates will come through tomorrow on the severity of the injury, but it was bad enough for the team to quickly rule him out of the rest of the game, and if the teams do have any design on making a genuine run at an AFC Wild Card spot in 2022, they'll need to be at full health.

Waller left the game without a catch, but on the season, he's got 16 catches for 175 yards and 1 Touchdown, and with Davante Adams taking the majority of the defence's attention, the production was more than solid. Right now, the Raiders are one of the NFL's most disappointing teams, and if Waller misses a significant amount of time, there's a good chance that a once promising season could be over.
