Rams Believe Left Tackle Has Torn Achilles

The Los Angeles Rams lost one of the most consistent tackles in NFL history after their iconic Super Bowl victory in the form of Andrew Whitworth, and unfortunately, they just haven't found that kind of presence since to replace him. The team just won in Week 6 to get their record back to 3-3, and with no other team stepping up in the NFC West, the division is once again wide open, but the victory today didn't come without a cost, and that was the likely end to the season of starting left tackle Joe Noteboom.

Early in the Rams victory, Noteboom went down, and while teams and fans generally fear the worst when such a thing happens, this time it was for good reason, as the team fear that he has officially torn his Achilles, and will be out for the season.

This is a major blow to the defending champs, who are yet to hit their strides in 2022, and if they can't give Matthew Stafford time to get the ball to his weapons like Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee and Allen Robinson, then this could potentially be yet another Super Bowl Champion that can't repeat in the big game.
